Last updated: September 23, 2026 Lilou Belajar Bahasa Arab (“Lilou”, “we”, “our”, or “the App”) is an educational mobile application designed to help users learn the Arabic language. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected or processed when you use Lilou, why it is used, and the services involved. 1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT Account Information When you sign in to Lilou using your Google Account, we may receive and store information such as: • Your name • Email address • Google/Firebase user identifier (UID) • Profile photo URL • Selected language • Account creation and last login information Lilou uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication to authenticate users. Lilou does not receive or store your Google password and does not access your Gmail messages or Google Drive files. Learning Data To provide and synchronize your learning experience, Lilou may store information such as: • Current and completed lessons • Lesson attempts and completion status • Scores and best scores • XP and stars • Learning progress • Saved words, sentences, and stories • Learning-related preferences and timestamps Some information may also be stored locally on your device. 2. ANALYTICS Lilou uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve the learning experience. Analytics may process information about interactions with the App, such as: • Lessons and exercises started or completed • Exercise results • Duration of learning activities • App lifecycle and interaction events • Device or app identifiers • General diagnostic and technical information Some approximate location information may be derived by service providers from network information such as IP addresses. Lilou does not request precise GPS location permission. 3. ADVERTISING Lilou may display advertisements using Google AdMob. Advertising services may process information such as: • Advertising identifiers • App and device identifiers • Ad interactions • IP address and network information • Diagnostic and performance information • Approximate location derived from network information The App also includes Meta/Facebook SDK components that may process app events, device identifiers, or advertising-related information. The exact information processed by these third-party services may depend on your device, settings, region, and the providers’ own policies. 4. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES Lilou offers optional premium subscriptions through Google Play. Google Play processes payments and subscription transactions. Lilou does not collect or store your credit card or bank account information. The App may process subscription status, product information, purchase state, and related information necessary to provide premium access. Deleting your Lilou account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be managed separately through Google Play. 5. MICROPHONE AND SPEECH RECOGNITION Lilou includes speaking and pronunciation exercises. When you choose to use these features, the App may request access to your microphone and use the speech-recognition service available on your Android device. Microphone input may be processed by the device’s speech-recognition provider to convert speech into text. Lilou does not intentionally store raw microphone recordings as audio files on its servers. If you voluntarily submit feedback about a speaking exercise, recognized text and related exercise information may be included in that feedback. 6. FEEDBACK AND SUPPORT When you voluntarily submit feedback or report a problem through Lilou, we may collect information necessary to investigate and resolve the issue, including: • Your Firebase user ID • Email address • Feedback category • Comments you provide • Lesson or exercise information • Relevant screen or question context • Selected language • Device manufacturer and model • Android version and API level • Date and time of the report This information is used for customer support, debugging, content correction, and improvement of the App. Feedback may also be processed through our administrative systems and service providers. 7. CONTENT DELIVERY Lilou uses cloud infrastructure, including Cloudflare services, to securely deliver lesson content such as lesson data, images, and audio. Authentication tokens may be processed when requesting protected content. Network services may also process technical information such as IP addresses as part of normal internet communication, security, and content delivery. 8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Lilou uses third-party services that may process information according to their own privacy policies, including: • Google Sign-In • Firebase Authentication • Cloud Firestore • Google Analytics for Firebase • Google AdMob • Google Play Billing • Google Play services • Meta/Facebook SDK • Cloudflare • Android speech-recognition services Certain administrative tools may also be used to analyze user-submitted feedback for troubleshooting and improvement purposes. 9. LOCAL STORAGE AND DEVICE DATA Lilou may store certain settings and learning information locally on your device, including: • App preferences • Sound and vibration settings • Reminder settings • Learning state • Saved learning content • Feature-tour status • Cached lesson content, audio, and images Android may also provide backup functionality depending on your device and account settings. 10. DATA SECURITY We use reasonable technical measures to protect information handled by Lilou. Communication with Firebase, Google services, and Lilou’s protected content services uses secure network connections where supported. However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security. 11. DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT DELETION You may request or initiate deletion of your Lilou account using the account deletion functionality provided by the App or through the account deletion information available on our website. Account deletion is designed to remove the main Lilou account record, learning progress, saved learning items, associated feedback reports, and the Firebase Authentication account. Some information may remain temporarily or for longer periods where required for security, legal compliance, backups, fraud prevention, service-provider retention, or technical reasons. Derived or aggregated issue information and information already processed by third-party providers may not necessarily be removed at the same time. Deleting your Lilou account does not delete your Google Account and does not automatically cancel Google Play subscriptions. 12. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY Lilou is an educational application. We do not knowingly use the App to intentionally collect personal information from children in violation of applicable privacy laws. Parents or guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information inappropriately may contact us using the email address below. 13. YOUR CHOICES Depending on the feature, you may: • Choose whether to use microphone-based speaking exercises • Choose whether to submit feedback • Manage Android notification permissions • Manage your Google Play subscription through Google Play • Request deletion of your Lilou account and associated account data 14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy when Lilou features, services, or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page. 15.
